JILA Fund
This discretionary fund helps support all aspects of JILA, from the facilities to our graduate students, helping to further the JILA community and culture in order to keep this institute a world leader in research.

JILA Shops Fund
Support the JILA Shops that support our science, including: The Instrument Shop, Electronics Shop, Computing Group, Science Communications Office, and JILA Purchasing. Thomas O’Brian Memorial Fund for Graduate Student Support at JILA
Named after the late Tom O’Brian, this fund honors his commitment to the graduate students of JILA. Dr. O’Brian served in multiple roles over his life, including director of the NIST Program Office, director of the NIST Boulder Laboratory, and chief of PML’s Quantum Physics Division and Time and Frequency Division. Dr. O’Brian is known for his leadership and positive influence on those around him.
This fund provides support to graduate students at JILA in the form of financial assistance.
JILA JEDI Fund
JEDI (JILA Excellence in Diversity and Inclusivity) advances JILA’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusivity by providing all JILAns an opportunity to participate in a variety of support, educational and policy/procedure input activities.
These funds will be used to provide financial support to persons providing leadership to these efforts as well as for specific projects which advance JILA’s commitment.
JILA Official Functions Fund
Provides unrestricted support of JILA research and administrative activities including official functions, donor cultivation, personnel recruitment, and/or entertainment at the University of Colorado Boulder.
