| Abstract |
In this paper we report on our investigation of the interesting features, and problems, associated with ultrahigh resolution two-photon spectroscopy, using a frequency controlled dye laser to study the 52S-n2S transitions in rubidium. The optical Ramsey technique of separated interactions is used to reduce transit broadening. Narrow resonances of 17 kHz full width half maximum are observed. |
