Together with graduate students Lane Terry and Maddie Klumb, Fellow Mathias Weber studies how ions are selectively bound to molecular receptors. The Weber group uses vibrational spectroscopy to probe the structures and intermolecular forces of model catalysts and their complexes with key species in the transformation process.
