  4. Short Biography: My work focuses on developing high power frequency combs in the extreme ultraviolet and x-ray regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, where currently the temporal coherence of existing light sources is extremely poor compared to laser sources in the visible and infrared. I earned my Ph. D. from the University of California at Berkeley where I developed techniques to perform femtosecond pump/probe spectroscopy in the vacuum ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet.
