We are delighted to announce a symposium celebrating the extraordinary life and scientific contributions of W. Carl Lineberger. This event will bring together Carl's students, postdoctoral researchers, and colleagues from across generations to honor his enduring legacy at JILA, his scientific home for more than five decades.
Symposium Highlights
Invited Speakers: Talks by prominent scientists introduced by alumni from Carl's research group, reflecting on his profound impact on multiple fields.
Poster Presentations: A showcase of recent advancements in areas shaped by "The JILA Way," emphasizing the collaborative and innovative spirit Carl championed.
Networking: There will be ample time set aside to socialize, share memories and most importantly, discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of chemical physics in modern molecular science.
We warmly invite all who have been inspired by Carl's work to join us in honoring his remarkable legacy. While the formal symposium program will begin on Tuesday, June 17th, a welcome reception will be held on the evening of Monday, June 16th.
