Abstract: Silicon Vacancy (SiV) centers in diamond coupled to nanophotonic cavities offer a promising platform for quantum communication. Our system utilizes long coherence times, high optical cooperativities, and on-chip scalability, providing a unique path to the practical implementation of long-distance quantum networking. In this talk, I will introduce our newly built two-node quantum network based on SiVs in nanocavities, and I will present the most recent results on distributing entanglement across different spin qubits located in different labs with long-lasting coherence up to one second. I will conclude by discussing some of the near and long-term goals, including long-distance entanglement distribution and non-local blind gates.
