Recent advances in nonlinear optics, integrated photonics, and materials synthesis have enabled many new capabilities in the generation of various quantum states of light. Meanwhile, there has been rapid progress in the development of new techniques and detectors for characterization and measurements with quantum light. Furthermore, the emergence of innovative applications harnessing quantum light for imaging, sensing, and spectroscopy has broadened the horizons of its potential. This workshop brings together leading experts and researchers from diverse disciplines, including nonlinear photonics, quantum optics, single-photon detectors, and chemical physics, to collectively discuss these transformative advancements, with a goal of building a collaborative community to implement the use of quantum light in physics, chemistry and biology.
