We will describe two recent experiments aimed at exploring quantum dynamics of strongly interacting dipolar systems. These include realization of the so-called discrete time crystalline order in the ensemble of disordered, strongly interacting  spin impurities  in black diamond,  and studies of quantum dynamics of regular  ultra cold atom arrays  excited into Rydberg states.
