Keck Lab

The Keck Lab encompasses both the optical metrology lab and JILA's Class 1000 and 100 cleanroom. The metrology lab is a shared facility for optical characterization, scanning probe and light microscopy, and education on the lab's laser optics table. The cleanroom is a user facility for micro and nano fabrication, and houses JILA's two scanning electron microscopes.

W. M. Keck Optical Measurement Lab

The W. M. Keck Optical Measurement Laboratory maintains optical measurement and characterization instruments for the use of JILA researchers. Though designed to support research at JILA, the facility is also available to other University of Colorado researchers and local industry on a space-available basis. The Keck lab is housed at JILA on the first floor of the S-wing.

JILA Micro and Nanofabrication Facility

The Keck measurement lab  manages the JILA Micro and Nanofabrication Facility. The fabrication facility is a suite of Class 1000 (ISO 6) and Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom bays. Though designed to support research at JILA, the cleanrooms are also available to other University of Colorado researchers and local industry on a space-available basis. The micro and nanofabrication facility is housed at JILA on the first floor of the new X-wing.
