Computing at JILA

The JILA Computing Services staff manages central servers and cluster computers; supports a local area network of distributed workstations, PCs, Macs, terminals, and printers; and installs and maintains network connections from offices and labs to other campus systems, the Internet, and national supercomputer centers. JILA computing systems provide e-mail, printing, scientific and administrative applications, computations, data acquisition and manipulation, and data backup services. Computing Services staff provides consultations, training courses, and hardware repair assistance.   More details are in the links, left.
