Emrah graduated with BS in Physics in 2009 from Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He was specialized in Opto-electronic Physics as an undergrad. He spent one summer at UCLA in Ozcan’s group and studied on Label-free, Ultra-wide field and Massively Parallel Optical Cell Counting Technologies. During high school years, Emrah participated International Physics Olympiads and won a bronze and a gold medal in South Korea(2004) and Spain(2005), respectively. Then, he joined KM group in the summer of 2010. Now, he is working on improving lenless imaging techniques in VUV and waterwindow. Emrah likes to play soccer and volleyball in his spare time.
