Jennifer grew up in Austin, TX. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in both physics and astronomy. Her undergraduate research was primarily in astronomy, studying white dwarf stars. After realizing she loved the more hands on aspects of experimental research she decided to pursue a PhD in physics, and joined the KM group in the summer of 2012. When not in the lab Jennifer enjoys horseback riding, hiking, and generally just being outside.
