The Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community (PISEC), is recruiting for another groundbreaking semester of local outreach. PISEC is currently celebrating its TENTH YEAR of connecting CU mentors to local school kids and we would love to have a strong JILA representation as we begin our second decade of supporting local students in their exploration of science.
As a PISEC mentor, you'll gain valuable experience and training in scientific communication, mentorship, and pedagogy -- all while having fun doing hands-on activities with excited kids! It's a great opportunity for both professional and personal development and we would love to share more info with you at a PISEC INFORMATIONAL MEETING the first two weeks of the semester. And did we mention there's FREE PIZZA?
