Getting to the University of Colorado
On Saturday, June 13 several events (CU Wizard Show, Poster Session, Luncheon and Symposium) will take place in the Cristol Chemistry Building and the University Memorial Center (UMC) on the campus of the University of Colorado. Parking will be available at the Euclid Auto Park for $3.00 per day. To get to this parking lot, enter the University off Broadway onto Euclid Avenue. The parking lot will be on the left. The University Memorial Center is located just west of the parking lot. Cristol Chemistry Building is located just north of the UMC. Check out the campus map for more information.
Walking to the University is easy from each of the recommended hotels. Ask for directions or maps from the hotel staff. They will know the best shortcuts to take.
From the St. Julien Hotel to the University
By Van
The St. Julien has a van which will take guests to any location within two miles of the hotel. Make a reservation to have the St. Julien van drop you at the University Memorial Center.
By Bus
Turn right and walk east on Walnut Street to Broadway. Turn right and walk to the bus stop. Take a SKIP bus south on Broadway. Tell the driver you want to get off at the University Memorial Center. Walk across Broadway, east on Euclid. The UMC will be on the left. On the return trip wait at the bus stop just south of Euclid on Broadway. Take the SKIP bus north on Broadway to Walnut Street. Walk west on Walnut Street to the St. Julien Hotel.
By Car
Drive west on Walnut Street to 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street. Drive south to Canyon Boulevard. Turn left on Canyon Boulevard. Drive east on Canyon Boulevard to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. Drive south on Broadway to Euclid/16th Street intersection. Turn left on Euclid. The Euclid Auto Park is on the left.
From the Quality Inn to the University
By Bus
Cross Arapahoe Avenue in front of the Quality Inn. Walk west on Arapahoe Avenue until you reach a bus stop. Take a JUMP bus to Broadway. Ask for a transfer when you get on the bus. On Broadway take a SKIP bus south. Tell the driver you want to get off at the University Memorial Center. Walk across Broadway, east on Euclid Avenue. The University Memorial Center will be on the left. It is easiest to walk back to the Quality Inn since it is mostly downhill. Walk across the University campus to University Avenue. Walk north or down the hill. University Avenue will become 17th Street. Turn right and walk east on Arapahoe Avenue to the Quality Inn.
By Car
Drive west on Arapahoe Avenue to 17th Street. Turn left on 17th which becomes University Avenue. Turn left on Broadway. Drive south on Broadway to Euclid/16th Street intersection. Turn left on Euclid. The Euclid Auto Park is on the left.
From the Millennium Harvest House to the University
By Bus
Walk north from the Millennium Harvest House through the shopping center until you reach Arapahoe Avenue. Cross Arapahoe Avenue and walk west to the bus stop. Take a JUMP bus to Broadway. Ask for a transfer when you get on the bus. On Broadway take a SKIP bus south. Tell the driver you want to get off at the University Memorial Center. Walk across Broadway, east on Euclid Avenue. The University Memorial Center will be on the left. It is easiest to walk back to the Millennium Harvest House since it is mostly downhill. Walk east on Euclid Avenue to Colorado Avenue in front of the Music School. Turn left and walk to Folsom Avenue through the University of Colorado campus. Turn left and walk down the hill to the back entrance to the Millennium Harvest House just before you reach Arapahoe Avenue.
By Car
Turn right on 28th Street heading south. Turn right at the first opportunity on Taft Drive. Drive west to Folsom Street. Turn right on Folsom Street and drive north to Arapahoe Avenue. Turn left on Arapahoe Avenue. Drive west on Arapahoe Avenue to Broadway. Turn left on Broadway. Drive south on Broadway to Euclid/16th Street intersection. Turn left on Euclid. The Euclid Auto Park is on the left.
