Photo of groupIn our lab, we study the quantum behavior of small electrical or electro-mechanical circuits. These circuits find application to quantum information processing and to the senstivite detection of small forces. In addition, we collaborate with groups at NIST to develop exotic electronics for astrophysical instruments. We are part of JILA, an institute joint between NIST and the University of Colorado. We are associated both with the University of Colorado Physics Department and with NIST's Quantum Physics Division.
