TR 2:00-3:30pm in Ketchum 234. This is a graduate level introduction to General Relativity. The course will be project-oriented, the goal being to make a Black Hole Flight Simulator

This screenshot illustrates a provisional concept, not a finished design.

Students will collaborate in groups of 5 or so to design and build an interactive computer BHFS. Strong skills in mathematics and computing are an absolute must. Some previous knowledge of relativity and/or computer graphics is helpful, but not essential.
