Short Biography: My work focuses on developing high power frequency combs in the extreme ultraviolet and x-ray regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, where currently the temporal coherence of existing light sources is extremely poor compared to laser sources in the visible and infrared. I earned my Ph. D. from the University of California at Berkeley where I developed techniques to perform femtosecond pump/probe spectroscopy in the vacuum ultraviolet and extreme ultraviolet.

  4. Short Biography: I am a member of the Ye lab's femtosecond group, where I work on frequency comb spectroscopy in the mid-IR. I did my undergraduate work at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, and at Umea University in Sweden. I received my Ph.D. from Umea University, where I worked on fiber-laser-based NICE-OHMS. I came to JILA on a Swedish Research Council fellowship.

  4. Short Biography: Here at JILA I work on the strontium optical lattice clock, which is a promising candidate for a next-generation optical frequency standard. I received my Ph.d. from the University of Washington in Seattle, where I performed experiments to search for a permanent electric dipole moment (EDM) of atomic mercury.
