Rosalba Perna wins 2010 SIGRAV Prize

Rosalba Perna has won the 2010 SIGRAV Prize from the Italian Society of General Relativity and Gravitational Physics.  The prize is one of the most prestigious Italian prizes in astrophysics. It is given biannually to an Italian astrophysicist under age 40 who has distinguished herself for work related to gravity. Perna is being honored for her work on neutron stars, black holes, and gravitational lensing. She will deliver an invited plenary talk at the October SIGRAV 2010 conference, where she will receive the prize.
