JILA Alum Markus Greiner Wins MacArthur Foundation "Genius Grant."

JILA Alum Markus Greiner, associate professor of physics at Harvard University, has been named a 2011 Fellow by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation.
Greiner was a research associate in Deborah Jin's lab from 2003 to 2005. During that time, he worked with Jin and JILA Fellow Cindy Regal (then a graduate student) to create the world's first fermionic condensate. Greiner joins former JILA colleagues Jin and Margaret Murnane as winners of the prestigious MacArthur "Genius Grants."
