 Middle school students prepare for a race between lego robotic cars. Credit: LinPart of JILA’s mission is to share its cutting-edge research with young people and the general public. We accomplish this in many ways.  Science at JILA offers short, easy-to-understand descriptions of exciting JILA research. This web section will soon offer an interactive “Ask a Scientist” where students can ask questions about science topics they are curious to learn more about.Profiles in Science presents short biographs of our scientists. The Education section tells about the many ways in which JILA is helping CU better educate children, young people, and college students about the wonders of science. The Community Outreach section shares activities of our faculty and young scientists aimed at sharing JILA science with people of all ages.
